Cantonese Opera and Chinese Cultural Education

Programs available in ENGLISH

One Table Two Chairs Charitable Foundation firmly believes that the art of Cantonese opera can inspire individual imagination and creativity. In recent years, we have been actively promoting Cantonese opera and Naamyam, among other traditional Chinese cultures, in schools. The fresh and creative activities have received enthusiastic support from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, international schools, and higher education institutions

In just two hours, the workshop contained a wealth of knowledge that is worth digesting slowly. What I am most grateful for is that the host's sharing has alleviated my slight fear of teaching Cantonese opera.

Primary school Chinese and music teachers

The teacher training workshop was very inspiring. It allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the background of Cantonese opera and Nanyin. It gave me inspiration for teaching, enabled me to think outside the box, and effectively boosted my teaching confidence!

kindergarten teachers

The Cantonese opera class is a great starting point for children to deepen their understanding of the genre in an engaging environment and experience the process of learning it. Thank you to the teachers for their thoughtful arrangements and guidance!

parents
